Khalifa University Scholarship for 2025-2026 is fully funded for international students. This scholarship is available for both master’s and PhD programs. It covers full tuition fees, medical insurance, support for attending international research conferences, and a monthly stipend of up to AED 40,000.

Khalifa University is a research-focused university in the UAE. Eligible Programs

Master’s Degree Programs include disciplines like Chemical Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Engineering Systems and Management, and Information Security. Other programs include Materials Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, and Petroleum Engineering. There are also options in Sustainable Critical Infrastructure, Water and Environmental Engineering, Applied Chemistry, and Petroleum Geoscience. Additionally, there are Master’s programs in Health, Safety, and Environmental Engineering, Computing and Information Science, International and Civil Security, and Applied Chemistry.

PhD Programs cover a broad spectrum of engineering and science fields such as Aerospace Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, and Civil Infrastructure and Environmental Engineering. Other available PhD programs include Electrical and Computer Engineering, Engineering Systems and Management, Material Science and Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. There are also PhD options in Nuclear Engineering, Petroleum Engineering, Robotics, and Multidisciplinary Engineering. Lastly, Khalifa University offers a Doctor of Medicine (MD) program for those interested in medical studies.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Khalifa University Scholarship, applicants must meet the following requirements:

Required Language: English.
Eligible Countries: All countries worldwide.

For Master’s Degree Programs:

Applicants must have completed a Bachelor’s Degree.
Applicants must provide an English Proficiency Certificate.
Applicants must attend an admission interview.

For PhD Degree Programs:

Applicants must have completed a Master’s Degree.
Applicants must submit a research statement (500-1,000 words).

Full-Time Students: Students must register for 3-4 courses per semester, which is equivalent to 9-12 credit hours.
